Gary Drake, AIF®, is a Senior Advisor with Holistic Wealth Advisors.
Gary was born and raised in Montreal and is a dual citizen of the US and Canada. He is a graduate of Queens University in Kingston, Ontario with a degree in Economics.
Gary has been working as an independent financial advisor since 1986 when he began working with Investors Group in Quebec and Ontario Canada.
After moving to the US in 1989, Gary continued serving his clients in Canada but ultimately shifted his focus to working with clients in and around his new home in Guilford, on the Connecticut shoreline as well as Massachusetts. Before partnering with Stacy at Holistic, he proudly ran Sterling Holistic Advisors through his affiliations with Walnut Street Securities, Cetera Financial and LPL Financial
Gary has always believed in giving back to his community. When his kids were young, Gary coached youth hockey, soccer and lacrosse. Gary was a mentor in the Guilford Youth Mentoring program starting in 2003 and served as President of the organization from 2016 until 2019. In 2012, Gary became a Rotarian with the Guilford Rotary Club and has been an active member ever since, serving on many committees and as President from June 2019- June 2021.

While attending University in Kingston, Ontario, I was certain of two things, I wanted to work with people and manage money. I have enjoyed many years helping individuals and companies manage their assets. I take a personal approach with my clients, learning as much about them as possible. Better understanding their wants and needs enables me to provide the best possible plan to reach their family goals.”
In his spare-time, Gary loves to keep busy. He loves to travel and explore new places. He particularly loves sailing, hiking, biking and spending time with his family and his dogs Willy and Lilly. He loves quick trips to Canada to visit family and in the winter loves to ski and snow-shoe.
